The recent floods in Louisiana hit residents and business owners hard, none more so than four sets of Anytime Fitness franchisees.
None of the four affected franchisees had flood insurance for their clubs, according to the Anytime Fitness corporate office in Woodbury, Minn. The franchisees need financial support for equipment replacement, reconstruction, reopening, lost wages, lost income from membership fees, and moving and storage costs.
Anytime Fitness helped set up GoFundMe accounts for the affected franchisees in Louisiana. Company co-founders Chuck Runyon and Dave Mortensen have donated a total of $40,000 to the franchisee accounts while other corporate employees and other franchisees have also made contributions.
Certainly, the floods affected other health club owners in Louisiana. But if you would like to help these Anytime Fitness franchisees, here are their names linked to their GoFundMe accounts:
Tracie and Jimmie Spallino, Robert, La.
Kenny and Tina Knaps, Walker, La.
Mallory and Norman Bonck III, Albany, La.
Phil Sondes, Watson, La.
